I am not much on living in a apartment building. But I can say I like it here so far and feels homie for an apartment. I moved in aug 5th and so far I have no complaints. I have a ground floor apartment cause of my disabilities and I have my disabled mother with me who is in a wheelchair and we don't have any issues with her getting around in her wheelchair and going threw doorways in the apartment cause the doors are wider then most doorways. The apartments are small but their layout makes me them seem bigger and they are a open space which helps. I have chronic anxiety and don't like small spaces and so far it's been ok for me. The apartments are really nice. I haven't seen the apartments on the upper levels so I can't say anything about their layouts and so on. But they should be about the same as the ground floor apartments. All apartments have a private patio which is a good size and they have a roof over them which is great. Haven't had any trouble with parking and I've been able to park in front of the building near my apartment so it's not a long walk especially since I have chronic pain issues with my back and legs due to a condition. The workers here are very nice and everyone who works in the rental office/club house. They allow two pets, cats and dogs and have a dog park. The club house has a pet spa, yoga room, gym, big great room with a kitchen you can rent for get togethers, there's another sitting area with computers and printer and things to make coffee. So far neighbors have been very nice and so far it's been peaceful area. This area has very nice landscaping and trees/some nature. It is a gated community which you will get a code for the gate when approved to live here. The gates stay open during the day and as far as night time Iam not sure if they stay closed every night. I don't go anywhere at night. The apartment buildings look very nice with some stone work. You also have to have a parking sticker for your cars. They also have covered parking and garage's you can rent or pay to have a reserved parking spot monthly. The rental office/clubhouse also sets up activities for the residents like pool party with cooking out on the grill at the pool and candle making and Iam not sure what else. That's what they have done so far since I been here. I haven't been here very long, about a month now. It's in a good location near lots of things/shopping and so on. I have a 8yr old daughter and the elementary school has been great so far with wonderful teachers. We was nervous about changing from Greer school who we been with since preschool but we are not nervous anymore since school started. Kids go to county schools in this area. There's even a fun outdoor putt putt place that I've went to when I was a kid and had lots of fun. It's in walking distance. But Iam sure this place has some negative things but that's with any place cause nothing is ever completely perfect but can be close to being perfect. I think I've mentioned everything that I can think of at that moment. Give the place a try and see what you think.

Crystal in the leasing office is so helpful. She helped me find my perfect apartment!!! Also, everyone is so nice, including maintenance.

I lived here on a short-term lease. The staff were professional and were willing to work with me on issues regarding the ending of my lease. The leasing manager, Amy, is awesome! Other comments: I used the resident study lounge a lot more than I thought I would! It was very convenient and always quiet. Also, the pool was super fun for my two kids during the summer months!

Lived here for two years, we have only great memories about Arden Place. Amy is such a delightful person to work with, so is the maintenance team. It’s so close to all main shopping places and groceries stores, or 29. Yet still preserves a tranquile neighborhood for us to rest and enjoy our life. Thank you for being our home in the last two years.

Phenomenal leasing agents very knowledgeable and helpful

I had the opportunity to visited a family member in the Arden place community for a birthday party and was very impressed with the community and its clubhouse . The lady in the office was very helpful as we set up for the party and checked in with us before the office closed. Although I do not live in the area if I did I would definitely choose Arden Place as my Charlottesville home

Amy was very eager to help me with my apartment search. She was very friendly and inviting. Even w she didn’t have what I needed at the moment she said she would keep me in mind in the future! I was happy to have worked with her briefly.

Greg the maintenance technician here at Arden was very professional, he answered my emails quickly and was very reliable. Greg was kind, helpful and reliable.

Today I'm giving some kind words to Greg and Steven our maintence men. I havnt gotten to know some of these men in the past few years but these two I have. They take time to always speak and ask how your days going if they're hard at work. I had an emergency recently and greg came and called who he needed. He was in and out constantly and back at the end to see if I needed anything or was satisfied. He said this is what I do. Steven came after hours when I had no A/C (an hour away) and was leaving my place late and got home around 10p.m. He said this is my job. Thank both of you. You're an asset here. I have been living here for two years and I really like this quiet and peaceful place. The neighbors and residents are quite nice and friendly. The manage team staffs are also nice and professional. They always responded and accomplished my requests in the next business day. I really enjoy living here!

I really like Arden Place. Amy and Walter in the office have always been super helpful and friendly. I haven't had any major issues so far. I think the fact that all the neighbors and other residents are so friendly is what I like the best. Feels like home. I wish the gym was a little bit bigger but it never seems crowded so I guess it's fine. Definitely recommend as a place to live if you're a chill person.

Great price for the amount of space! Office staff is extremely responsive and answered my 500 questions during the application and touring process. So far it’s been 10/10 experience.

Crime and burglaries; packages stolen and vehicles broken into. The residents seem kind and friendly for the most part, staff is a bit knowledgeable and aloof. The neighborhood is not the safest. A gated community with staff ensuring the gates are not promised to be closed as it is not a part of the verbiage listed throughout the lease agreement - a reason being that it is a business and they must remain open so potential new residents can enter at any time. I personally do not recommend this complex for the lack of security and inexperienced management/staff.
